So hard to believe Claire is already a month. She's growing like a weed- already 9 pounds and 22.5 inches- her doctor tells us she's going to be a tall girl. She's eating nonstop, and is starting to give us some little smiles. She's also starting to enjoy her black and white board book and looking at her toys, but is still happiest being snuggled.

She recently attended her first dinner party and had fun checking out her Aunty Alexa.

The first few weeks

Claire was a willing subject for mom's love of photography...note her smiling and waving at the camera at only a week old- our brilliant girl!

Going home!

After some initial complaints, Claire decided her new carseat was going to be an okay ride.

Sleeping baby

Claire was a very sleepy girl for the first few days- we had to strip her down and wipe her little feet with a cold wet towel to wake her up to feed. When she was awake she would scratch her face with her tiny nails- hence the socks on her hands!

Meeting the family...

Claire had lots of visits from family and friends while in the hospital including her new friend Allyson Millen, Grandpa Bob, Nanny Mare and Grandma Sylvia

Meeting Miss Claire

After a very fast labour, Claire arrived at 12:28 am on November 17th....she still seems to be a bit of a night owl...perhaps her birth time was a forewarning?
