One of Claire's latest passions....Nanny Mare's button box. The minute we walk in her door it's "Wanna pay buttons?" We also enjoyed some much needed sunshine at Dallas Road on the weekend, and Claire spent some time practicing her "cheesy grin":)
She wasn't a huge fan of the snow, but had fun pre-"big" snowstorm making a snowman with Grandma, and tolerated a little walk outside on our snowday. Otherwise she was much happier enjoying the view from inside!
We recently enjoyed our first trip to the Museum with Claire who was thrilled to find large spaces full of interesting things and very few limitations on what she could do (as was I!). Her favourite spot seemed to be Old Town, and she proclaimed herself "scared" of the Wooly Mammoth.
Claire's enjoying her new kitchen- cooking up stir-fry and cookies and other delights. She also recently enjoyed running most of the way around Swan Lake- amazing what such little legs can do!
Claire was a pretty big fan of Christmas this year- the lights, the decorations, Santa, the music, the Elmo Christmas DVD we watched approximately 50 times (and counting). She especially loved opening (and helping everyone else to open) presents, and playing with her new kitchen (where, for some reason, when asked, is always making 'um, eggs, sausage and cheese'. Apparently she's an omelet chef).
A little get-together with Adam and Ally before they headed back to Cochrane, and my attempts at a Christmas photo shoot....not a lot of cooperation going on with this gal, but managed to get a couple of cute shots nonetheless.
