I think Claire may have a future as a fashion stylist....her latest fad is fashioning my old scarves into baby carriers for her baby dolls.
Red shoes. She found these in a consignment store and they were her chosen shoes for the rest of the summer....she's not so thrilled that we're packing them away now.
Drawing. The figure on the bottom is one of the first 'people' she's drawn- at this rate her drawing abilities will soon surpass mine!
Waiting. For their first dance class to begin. Little did we know they'd be the only two not decked out in tutus (or spiderman costume).
First class. Claire was thrilled with her first class, practicing first position and toe points and twirls. (the spiderman beside her was not so thrilled and refused to participate. Not surprisingly he didn't show up to the second class.)
Dance clothes. Having learned our lesson from week one, Claire is now decked out in proper ballet attire.
Run. For the cure. What a gorgeous and inspiring morning it was!
