July, so far (get ready for a big share!)

We've had a great summer so far- enjoying the warm weather that finally arrived this month. We've been house & dog sitting twice (love having a yard!), gone to Parksville for Claire's Papa Ralph's 90th birthday, and enjoyed lots of beach visits. I've been taking a photography course which has resulted in Claire being subjected to even more photos than usual- her latest question "Momma, why do you have to take SO many pictures!!!?". The everpresent Ava. Claire recently told us that Ava's dad is Michael, and he works on the Coho Ferry. She also has two moms: Lisa and Cora. (coincidentally, also the names of two girls in her class)
