Claire's first wedding

Claire was pretty in pink at her cousin Tim & his new wife Debbie's wedding yesterday and enjoyed lots of cuddles with family and dancing to the live band (she has quite impressive rhythm!). It was a gorgeous wedding and a perfect day- complete with a peacock who has made his home in their yard, squawking his congratulations to the newlyweds. Jennifer manage to corral all the cousins together for quite possibly the first photo of the 5 of them in one place.

Now that the weather is FINALLY getting better, Claire is enjoying hanging outside and picking grass. Mom took the opportunity for a little photo shoot yesterday- she's becoming quite the pro at modelling for the camera- but it's hard work- she needed a little mid-shoot laydown!

Claire's favourite new pasttime is drumming- she does it while being held, sitting, in her bumbo, in the pool (video to follow)- pretty much anywhere. Last night she figured out if she turned her spinning toy upside down it gave her a nice big base to drum on!

Family photos

Claire is a lucky girl to have so much family around- and recently had dinner with her Nanny Mare
and her Great-Papa Ralph- four generations on one couch!

She's been enjoying some after dinner walks in the neighbourhood hanging out in her Baby Bjorn, and seems to have started dressing like her Grandma (or vice versa?) She also recently had a visit from Grandpa Jack and enjoyed spending time with him.

7 months!

Not quite sure how it happened, but Claire is suddenly 7 months- and changing so quickly. She' s sitting, drumming (her favourite pasttime), eating, laughing, dancing and rolling (she had started out sitting near the white cushion in the photo of her under the footstool!), just to name a few of her fave activities. She recently spoiled her mom with a 71/2 hour stretch of sleep- pure bliss!
